Join us at Doe Bay Wine Company for a special evening featuring Kathryn Taylor chocolates paired with our favorite wines. Several weeks ago we sat down with owners Ted and Susan, along with plates of chocolates and a dozen wines. We're excited to share our findings with you. We recently sat down with Alex, and his wife Sunny, and a dozen bottles of wine to start planning this pop-up dinner. Sunny grew up in Thailand and is working with Alex to recreate her mother’s recipes using spices from home and produce from Orcas. They hold regular events around the island, this will be their first at the Bottle Shop!

Join us on September 23rd at 6PM for a farm to table experience with special guest Carl Spence, who is the OIFF Film Curator and former Seattle International Film Festival director.
Dinner will feature local chef Christina Orchid who hosts these robust affairs on her historic Red Rabbit Farm on Orcas Island. Guests dine family style at a long table in the meadow or the barn and are served elegant food inspired by local and freshly harvested ingredients.
Guests will be treated to a sneak preview of the Orcas Island Film Festival 2017 hottest new films, followed by a Q & A with Carl Spence. If you’re a film buff, you’ll want to hang out with him. He’s got stories, trivia and, probably, loads of gossip about the film festival scene.
