Once a month, Doe Bay Wine Company on Orcas Island hosts a wine and cheese tasting we genuinely love. October's evening features three wines from Saumur in the Loire Valley: a sparkling Crémant de Loire Brut Rosé, a Chenin Blanc from the Clos du Midi vineyard, and a Saumur Rouge from the new Chai de la Dive project. The cheese board runs from a flower-coated Pyrenean sheep tomme to a Swiss raw cow cheese aged 270 days in a limestone cave.
New this fall: we start at 5pm.
Tickets are $20 for members and $35 for general admission.
